nThambo Tree Camp

Experience a Kruger Safari at nThambo Tree Camp and stay in unique accommodation in the heart of the Klaserie, a Big 5 reserve sharing unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park. The Klaserie also boasts a plethora of interesting birdlife, making it a haven for birdwatchers. To take advantage of the exceptional game viewing opportunities, safari drives are conducted twice a day.
There are five wooden chalets on stilts, eye-level with the trees. Each safari chalet has tented sides, giving it that iconic bushveld look and feel. Guests can experience elevated views of the Klaserie from their private wooden balconies, extending all the way to the Drakensberg mountains.
The main area has a bar and dining area that leads through to a boma, and swimming pool with deck area. Elephants are regular visitors to the splash pool during the drier winter months and often create quite the spectacle for onlookers.
